5 cheapest cars in the world

“They are not concept cars, they are not prototypes. They are the production cars that will roll out of the Singur plant later this year.” - Mr. Ratan Tata, Chairperson of Tata.

The much awaited Tata Nano was finally unveiled on 10th January 2008 in New Delhi. The small, cute and compact car is priced at an unbelievably low price of 1 lac rupees ($2500), which makes it the cheapest car of the world.
